The SHA-256 is a fingerprint of the exact text below. Each claim records the version its member accepted, so we can always show which words applied.
These terms apply when you redeem a code for the FFG Connect member perk at vovs.co.uk/connect, and to the website we build and host for you as a result. Please read them before you tick the box. If anything is unclear, ask us at hello@vovs.co.uk before you redeem.
1. Who we are and who the perk is for
The perk is offered by Ugenie AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16331448), trading as V.ONE Venture Studio (“V.ONE”, “we”, “us”). Our registered office is Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@vovs.co.uk.
The perk is for members of FFG Connect who are 18 or over. “You” means the person who redeems a code, and the business they name, if any.
- Membership. We don’t check membership when you redeem. We may ask you to show you’re a member, for example with a screenshot of your Connect profile. If you are not a member, we may cancel your claim and refund anything you paid.
- Your contract. When you redeem a code, you accept these terms and they form a contract between you and V.ONE. We keep a record of the exact version you accepted.
- Your perk agreement. After your onboarding call, you sign a short perk agreement in your dashboard. It records what we agreed on the call and follows these terms. If the two ever conflict, the agreement applies, but it will never take away a right these terms give you.
2. How the codes work
- The drops. We release three codes every Monday at 09:00 UK time, from Monday 9 November 2026 to Monday 25 January 2027: 12 drops in all, including 28 December. One code is free and two are £200.
- First valid claim wins. For a free code, the first person to redeem it with valid details gets it. For a £200 code, the first person to hold it and pay for it gets it. Our server’s clock decides the time and who was first, not the clock on your device.
- One code per member. You can claim one code across the whole 12-week perk, whichever week it is and whatever its price. That means one per person and one per business, whichever email address you use. If we find a second claim, we cancel it and refund any payment for it.
- Expiry. A code that nobody has claimed expires 7 days after it is released, when the next drop opens.
- Checkout holds. When you redeem a £200 code, we hold it for you for 60 seconds so you can click Pay. While the PayPal window is open, we keep holding it, up to 3 minutes in all from the start of your hold. Nobody else can take the code while you hold it. If your hold runs out, you can still finish paying as long as nobody else has taken the code in the meantime.
- The queue. If someone else is holding a £200 code, you can join the queue for it. If their hold runs out, the first person in the queue gets 30 seconds to start their own hold, then the next person, and so on. Keep the page open to keep your place. Once the code is claimed, the queue ends.
- Pauses and faults. We may pause redeeming for a short time if something goes wrong, such as a technical fault or suspected abuse. We may withdraw and replace a code that has been leaked or misused before anyone claims it.
- Fair play. Don’t use bots, scripts or several identities to claim codes. We may cancel any claim made that way and refund any payment for it.
- The perk itself. The perk runs for 12 weeks. We may extend it or end it early. If we end it early, every code already claimed is honoured.
3. Price and payment
- The price. A free code costs nothing. A £200 code costs £200, paid upfront through PayPal when you claim it. V.ONE is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
- We never take payment unless you get the code. If someone else gets the code before your payment goes through, we don’t take your payment and you are not charged.
- PayPal. Your payment is made through PayPal, and PayPal’s own terms apply to it. We never see your card or bank details. We email you a receipt.
- Pending payments. PayPal sometimes takes a few days to confirm a payment. Your claim stands while it does. If PayPal declines or reverses the payment in the end, we may cancel your claim.
- Checks. If something needs checking after we have taken your payment, we will email you within one working day. If your claim can’t go ahead, we refund you in full.
4. What you get
- One web page, with up to 5 sections. A section is one block of the page with one job, such as a hero, about you, your services, testimonials or a contact form.
- Built on existing V.ONE page designs, styled to your brand: your colours, your fonts and your voice. It is not designed from a blank page.
- One round of edits. We send you a mock-up. You approve it, or send us one set of tweaks and we update it.
- Year 1 hosting and a domain, as set out in section 6.
You supply the words, images and logo, and we arrange and build them. Anything else, such as more pages, features like booking or payments, a fully unique design, more rounds of edits or changes after go-live, is quoted separately. We only do it if you agree the price first.
Your content stays yours. The page designs, templates and code we build with stay ours, and you may use your site for as long as we host it.
5. Your side of the deal
- Your content. After you sign your perk agreement, your dashboard shows a checklist of what we need, such as your logo, colours, copy for each section, photos and links, each with a due date. Please send everything by those dates.
- Your rights to it. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, and that it is accurate and lawful. You allow us to use it to build, host and show your site. We may refuse content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes someone else’s rights.
- The 7-day clock. We will have your site live within 7 days. The clock starts when you have signed off your mock-up and everything on your checklist is in. Your dashboard shows the date.
- When the clock pauses. If we are waiting on you, for example for a missing item, an answer or a decision, the clock pauses and your live date moves back by the same number of days.
- Days are calendar days. Weekends and bank holidays count, including over Christmas and New Year.
- If we run late. If we are going to miss your date for a reason on our side, we will tell you as soon as we know, with a new date.
- If we don’t hear from you. If you don’t book your onboarding call or send your content within 90 days of your claim, we may close your project after reminding you. If you paid and the build has not started, we refund you in full.
6. Hosting and your domain
- Year 1. Hosting is included for 12 months from the day your site goes live.
- Visitor limits in year 1. Hosting is free for sites with up to 1,000 visitors a month. From 1,001 to 5,000 visitors a month it is £5 a month, and from 5,001 it is £10 a month. We count visitors with our analytics. We will always tell you before any charge starts, and we never charge you without your agreement. If you’d rather not pay, we will talk through the options with you.
- Your domain. If you don’t have a domain, we register a matching standard (not premium) domain and pay for year 1. It starts in V.ONE’s name, and we transfer it to your name free whenever you ask. If you already have a domain, we connect it and you keep renewing it with your registrar.
- After year 1. To keep your site live, renew for £100 a year paid upfront, or £10 a month. That covers hosting and the domain, whatever your traffic. We remind you 30 days and 7 days before year 1 ends.
- If you don’t renew, your site comes down at the end of year 1 and we transfer the domain to you free on request. There are no exit fees.
7. Refunds and cancelling
Refunds
- Before the build starts. If you paid £200 and the build has not started, you can cancel for any reason and get a full refund. The build starts when we begin work on your mock-up, and your dashboard shows when that happens.
- After the build starts. We don’t give refunds just because you change your mind, but your legal rights still apply (see below), and we will always put right anything we got wrong.
- Free codes. If you claimed a free code, you can cancel at any time by telling us. There is nothing to pay or refund.
To ask for a refund:
- Email hello@vovs.co.uk from the address you claimed with.
- Tell us your name and your code, and that you want a refund.
- We refund the full £200 through PayPal to the account or card you paid with, within 14 days of your email. We cover PayPal’s fees.
If you are a consumer: your right to cancel
Most members claim for a business. If you claim as an individual, for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you are a consumer, and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.
- The 14 days run from the day your claim is confirmed.
- Starting sooner. We won’t start work on your mock-up within those 14 days unless you ask us to. You make that request when you sign your perk agreement in your dashboard, and you confirm that you understand you lose the right to cancel once the work is complete.
- Cancelling before we start. If you cancel within the 14 days and the build has not started, we refund you in full.
- Cancelling after we start. If you asked us to start and then cancel within the 14 days, we refund the £200 less a fair amount for the work already done, in proportion to the whole service.
- Once it is finished. If, at your request, we finish the work and your site goes live within the 14 days, you can no longer cancel, because the service has been fully provided.
- How to cancel. Email us a clear statement that you want to cancel. You can use the form below, but you don’t have to. We refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the account or card you paid with.
Cancellation form
Only fill in and send this form if you are a consumer and want to cancel.
- To: Ugenie AI LTD trading as V.ONE Venture Studio, Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ, United Kingdom. Email: hello@vovs.co.uk
- I give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: the FFG Connect member perk website.
- Claimed on:
- Your name:
- Your address:
- Your signature (only if you send this form on paper):
- Date:
8. Credit and portfolio
- Credit. A small “Built by V.ONE” credit sits in your site’s footer while we host it.
- Portfolio. We may show your site, its name and screenshots of it in our portfolio and marketing, as a case study. If you would rather we didn’t, tell us and we will stop using it in anything new.
9. FFG Connect
Forbes Family Group Limited (FFG Connect) is not a party to these terms and has no liability to you.
Your contract is with V.ONE. FFG Connect tells its members about the perk, but questions and complaints about your code, your payment or your website come to us. We never share your name, email or business with FFG Connect. It only sees counts, such as how many codes were claimed and how many sites went live.
10. Our responsibility to you
- Care and skill. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, as described in these terms.
- What we never limit. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
- If you claim for a business: we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the total you have paid us under them, or £200 if that is more.
- If you are a consumer: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses. If our service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 lets you ask us to put it right or, if we can’t, to give you some money back.
- Things outside our control. We host your site with reputable providers, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If one happens, we will tell you and do what we can to limit the effect.
11. Your data
We use your name, email, business name and the other details described in our privacy policy to run the drop, your claim, your payment and your project. If you sign up for drop alerts, we use your name, email and mobile (if you give one) only to remind you about the drops, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
12. The legal bits
- Changes to these terms. We may publish a new version of these terms, for example to fix a mistake or make something clearer. The version you accepted when you claimed your code applies to your claim. We keep every version with a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash), so we can always show the exact text you accepted.
- Transfers. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business, for example a new company that takes over V.ONE. We will tell you first, and it won’t reduce your rights. You may not transfer your code or your claim to someone else without our written agreement.
- Nobody else has rights under these terms.
- If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Your statutory rights are unaffected. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
- Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you claim for a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
13. Questions and complaints
Email hello@vovs.co.uk. Tell us what went wrong and we will try to put it right quickly.
